SHEducation
SHEducation is a student-led service club based at Comedor Naciones Unidas, dedicated to empowering young girls through education, mentorship, and academic support. During weekly visits, members work with students in small groups focused on Math, English, Spanish, and Science, creating lessons and study plans that respond to their academic needs. The club also provides school supplies, educational materials, and essential health and hygiene items to support the girls’ well-being. Through consistent tutoring and encouragement, SHEducation inspires girls to continue their education and explore future opportunities in both STEM and the Humanities.

Impact on Students
Through tutoring and mentorship, club members strengthen their leadership, communication, patience, and teaching skills. Working closely with younger students helps them understand different learning needs and the importance of encouragement and consistency. Members also become more aware of the connection between education, health, and personal well-being, while gaining confidence in their ability to support someone else’s growth.

SHEducation teaches students that meaningful change requires commitment, empathy, and a willingness to use their own knowledge and resources to create opportunities for others.
