SHE Education

SHE Education is a club dedicated to empowering young girls to pursue education. At Barrio Naciones Unidas, we provide weekly academic support through Math, English, and Spanish;

helping young girls pursue their passion for knowledge and grow their skills in the real world.

Club Overview

Mission

SHEducation is based on "Comedor Naciones Unidas". By attending there, our clubdesignates teachers to create study plans and lessons for students to improve their English andmath skills. Furthermore, SHEducation created fundraisers to give our students the necessary toolsto fulfill their education (such as notebooks, pencils, and books.)

Objective

Push Nicaraguan girls to pursue education at a higher level, and become interested in the fields of STEM and Humanities.

Activities & Finances

Weekly visits to the dining hall from 10 am to 12 pm, including activities such as organizing ourselves into different groups based on different subjects such as Math, English, Spanish, and Science.
The club already has school materials needed for the girls. Additionally, the club already has funds from prior fundraisers. If more funds are needed, we will hold bake sales.
