Service Learning Clubs
LIA connects to the community of Nicaragua by implementing service learning for students through clubs. Students at LIA have a variety of club choices. We want the LIA community of students to participate actively in actions that contribute to the community. Therefore, we offer club choices in Middle School and High School.

Middle School
Happy Tails
Happy Tails is a club that is dedicated to rescuing stray dogs and finding them loving homes. By partnering with adoption organizations around Nicaragua, they ensure that the dogs are well cared for until they are adopted.
Ecominds
Ecominds is fully committed to preserving the environment and fighting against climate change. The club undertakes projects such as tree planting to promote a cleaner environment in Nicaragua.
Niños Jesús de Praga
A service club that supports Niño Jesús de Praga School in Chiquilistagua by donating educational materials, offering financial assistance, and creating positive learning and recreational experiences for its students.
Hogar San Antonio
A service club that supports the elderly residents of Hogar San Antonio in Masaya by offering companionship, dignity, and care through meaningful visits and collaboration with the Hermanas Josefinas, helping them feel valued and loved
High School
Green Team
The Green Team Club is an environmental organization that aims to create awareness of the climate crisis and make a difference in Nicaraguan society with a series of projects to help the environment.
APROQUEN
Through many activities during the school year, APROQUEN gathers money for underprivileged children who suffer from severe burns, turning tears into smiles.
Abrazos de Empatía
The LIA Abrazos de Empatía club promotes awareness and inclusion of neurodivergent students at Lincoln International Academy, fostering a supporting and caring school environment.
DTeach
D-Teach provides accessible, high-quality tech education to all, empowering new generations to develop a passion for technology, regardless of their background or access to resources.
The Hawk's Eye
A student-run online newspaper that publishes weekly content highlighting school life, student voices, and mental-health awareness while helping students develop writing, editing, and media skills.
Pink Club
A student-led club that raises awareness about breast cancer, supports those affected, and promotes early detection and prevention through education, community events, and fundraising.
Word Up LIA
This club empowers children in low-income schools in León by visiting twice a month to teach fun, engaging English lessons that open future opportunities and help them enjoy learning a new language.
CapyByte
This club, CapyByte, makes technology easy and accessible by offering workshops, tutorials, and service opportunities in areas like robotics, 3D printing, video editing, and electronics, empowering students to learn practical tech skills and inspire innovation in their community.
Bright Smiles
A health-focused club that raises awareness about oral hygiene—especially among underprivileged children—by teaching them how to care for their teeth and helping prevent disease, with a special focus on kids who lack access to basic dental care.
Pajarito Azul
Pajarito Azul, a club at Lincoln International Academy, promotes social responsibility and companionship among students for abandoned children with Down syndrome and cerebral palsy.
Believe Academy
Believe Academy helps students from a basketball academy in San Juan del Sur, as well as their teachers by teaching them how to instruct lessons. Additionally, they donate school supplies to the underprivileged children who belong in the academy.
Fellowship of the Cross
Fellowship of the Cross is a club that is formed by male High School students. Its mission is to serve during school mass, celebrations, and religious events. The members have the honor to serve at the altar and glorify God through service.
Entrepreneurship Club
The Entrepreneurship Club aims to foster entrepreneurship by providing resources, guidance, and support to turn creative ideas into successful ventures.
House of Art LIA
A creative club where students use art to inspire joy, support others, and promote sustainability, building a caring and expressive school community.
Semillas de Cambio
This club helps small local businesses, like fruit stands and street vendors, grow by supporting them with marketing, gaining customers, and improving their access to products and storage so they can thrive in the community.
Jugando Sin Límites
This club, Jugando Sin Límites, gives children with disabilities the chance to learn and enjoy sports while also building real-life skills, through regular practices, special activities, and support like donated soccer equipment.
Faithful Futures
This club, Faithful Futures, supports children in low-income churches by donating backpacks and school supplies and sharing faith-based activities, helping them continue their education while encouraging a strong foundation in God.
Barkies
A student-led animal-welfare club that supports local shelters by volunteering, fundraising for food and medicine, promoting adoption, and teaching responsible pet care to help improve the lives of animals in Nicaragua.
Glee Club
Glee Club promotes performing arts talent at Lincoln, particularly music. This club also helps by donating to underprivileged children through the money they collect from events like the Talent Show.
Dressing Souls
Dressing Souls works for the well-being of children in need by providing clothing and essential common services that are vital for their life, establishing a close collaboration with the Home of the Servant Sisters of the Divine Face, to ensure that these children receive the care and support they deserve in their growth

Fellowship of the Cross is a club that is formed by male High School students. Its mission is to serve during school mass, celebrations, and religious events. The members have the honor to serve at the altar and glorify God through service.
Esperanza en Acción
A faith-based service club that supports Nicaraguan youth with limited resources through donations, spiritual formation, community outreach, and acts of service, empowering them to grow in dignity, hope, and leadership.
SHE Education
Students teach math and English to girls in underserved communities, empowering them through education while building leadership and confidence.
Hands of Hope
This club supports children at Hospital La Mascota by regularly visiting them and providing essential supplies like clothing, toys, food, and other necessities, while also spending time with them through fun, caring activities.
Youth for Life
This club supports single mothers in need by raising funds and donations to provide food packages, school supplies, and direct assistance, while also giving students meaningful opportunities to serve their community and complete service-learning hours.
EMPODERALA
This club educates and supports girls at Nandayosis School by leading nurse-guided talks on menstrual health and providing menstrual kits with pads, tea, and pain relief, helping them manage their cycle with confidence and without shame.
Future's Hope
This club supports children in need by giving them educational help, resources, motivation, and a safe, caring space—so they can grow with confidence, joy, and hope for a better future.
Brighter Days
A student-led club that visits the elderly at Hogar de Ancianos San Pedro de Claver to share companionship, laughter, activities, and meaningful moments, brightening their days and building caring bonds across generations.
